A rare late 17th or early 18th century blown glass salt cellar or saleron attributed to Bernard Perrot, the Royal Glass Maker from Orléans. Colorless and transparent, the bowl of the saleron rests on four thick legs, curved in the shape of elephant trunks with notched detailing. A similar model is held in the collection of Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

Dimensions: 3.15” Diameter, 2.83” H

Condition: Very good, missing one small glass appliqué. Priced accordingly.
