19th Century Silver MOP Knives—Box of 18
Simply superb Napoleon III era box of 18 mother of pearl table knives with exquisite silver blades (950/1000) with engraved ornamentation. The mother of pearl handles are monogrammed with the letters ‘HB’. The knives are in near pristine condition in the original box which is lined with a vibrant emerald silk. Truly a rare treat!
Silver: Minerva 1st title (French 1st Standard for silver is 95% silver, 5% copper), From the Maison Jules Piault, a Parisian Goldsmith who was active during the Napoleon III era (1852-1870)
