Beautiful 18th century bouquetière or flower frog from Liège in the shape of a basket with criss crossed honeycomb detailing, hand tooled glass crown, and a graduated base. This style of glass was made to imitate crystal that had become fashionable in the last third of the 18th century in competition with English glass makers. A stunning example of 18th century glasswork that was used for arranging flowers.
