18th Century Florentine Cutlery Chest

Sublime 18th century Florentine travel cutlery chest with brass feet, gilded handles & key hole with neoclassical decorations complete with its original key; the box is covered in red parchment inside and embellished with silver thread trimmings with 61 compartments for cutlery. Leather exterior of the box is stamped with the flower of Florence, the Red Lily, and is monogrammed with the letter ‘A’ for the Albigiotti family.

In short, this is the present for the person who has everything. Use it to store cutlery when not in use or as a display piece.

Condition: Very good, wear consistent with age

Dimensions: 17” H x 16 3/4” W x 8 1/2” D
