An absolutely divine 18th century Compagnie des Indes grisaille tea bowl and saucer, from 1723-35. The tea bowl is adorned with two figures, a European man and a European lady holding a cup of wine. An identical bowl and saucer are in the collection of the British Museum (Franks.595) and similar sets have been sold at auction at Christie’s.

Condition: Good, hair line on the tea bowl, and one small loss on the saucer. Priced accordingly.
