Divine 17th Century Louis XIV leather travel writing case with silk lining, brass hardware, and original gold ribbon. The box is slightly rounded in shape and covered in black leather adorned with studs. The case features several compartments for letters, writing paper, and slots for inkwells. The case retains all of its original hardware including a brass lock. Key is no longer present. The overall condition is exceptional especially considering that these cases were in constant use and travelled with their owners.

Dimensions: 10 1/2” L x 7 3/4” x 3”

Condition: Very good, wear to silk due to age.
